Ecorates CALL for VOLUNTEERS 2007 !!

EYFA needs volunteers from each country to help improve and update Ecorates System!

Due to economical inequalities between countries, activist groups and individuals from some countries are being financially discouraged or even impede from participating in gatherings and seminars or from subscribing to magazines. Defining this as a problem, EYFA started working on creating an alternative 'currency', a fair exchange rate based on the actual cost of living in each country. Today this currency is being used in many environmentalist and activist meetings, projects and campaigns.

We think that we, activists, should empower ourselves through creating mechanisms to include social concerns in our ways of functioning and include more and more people in these mechanisms.

The Ecorates System is based in trust, solidarity and altruistic collaboration. Therefore, it can NOT exist without the solidarity and cooperation of people from each country all over the world.

We'd like to have coordinators in each country to help distribute info about the project and help update the system by collecting data on living costs in their country.

We are also looking for volunteers living in The Netherlands, who have time and motivation to come and help us improve Ecorates System.
