ESF Open tool is a collaborative space. You are free to create automatically a space for a new project. Each project space is provided with its own subdomain (I.e.: www.openesf.net/ProjectName), own wiki pages and the possibility to automatically create various e-lists between its participants.
Open ESF site is meant to facilitate an online networking space for any activity / project or entity (organisation, network group) working under the Chapter of Principles of Social Forums, and also to support the networking around the European Social Forum process.
ESFOpen Tool promotes the "open space" philosophy. By default its pages and contents are public, and open to every person working for another Europe and a better world; however each project hosted in the ESFOpen tool has the option to restrict its space only to its participants.
ESFOpen tool is administrated by the Webteam under the supervision of the European Social Forum-European Preparatory Assembly. We are not a multinational like MySpace-New Corporation:Murdoch or Flickr-Yahoo. On the contrary we consider very important to count on open and free communication tools
