Mark your calendars for the Winter Meeting, which will take place on Saturday, February 20th and Sunday, the 21st!

Ecotopia Biketour is a self-organized political bicycle tour that has been cycling through different parts of Europe each summer since 1990. During the tour we visit environmental and social projects and practice forms of activism and sustainable living. We follow a vegan diet, practice consensus decision making and encourage skill-sharing. Ecotopia Biketour is for anyone interested in travelling by bike, community life, DIY, environmentalism and learning by experience. Ecotopia Biketour 2016 is going to take place in the Baltic States and any of their neighbouring countries (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and possibly Poland, Belarus, Russia, Finland).

Mark your calendars for the Winter Meeting, which will take place on Saturday, February 20th and Sunday, the 21st! (People who have time can also stay longer to get some more work done.)

During these two days, we’ll discuss and make necessary decisions about the general route, which projects sound interesting to visit, and whether we go to Russia or Belarus and how to sort out the visa situation. We will work together to create flyers, posters and stickers to advertise the tour and discuss about our values and how to implement them. We encourage you to participate in the discussions knowing that there is no obligation to take over a lot of tasks in the process.

The location of the meeting is undecided and depends on where most people are able to attend. There is a dudle (https://bit.ly/1n1WMwb) where
you can choose which place is most convenient for you and the location that’s most convenient for everyone will be announced by mid January. If you have any suggestions that aren’t listed, please feel free to put them in the comment section of your response. We have the possibility to refund your travel costs for coming to the meeting.
